  1. I would dearly love to travel to the Galapagos Islands to photograph the blue footed boobies and marine iguanas. I think they would be such an amazing place to visit. Of course, Madagascar and the monkeys, geckos and other reptiles draw me as well. Hope you have an awesome trip, I can’t wait to see the pictures. (Jealous in Truro) Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to win.

  2. I want to travel everywhere! It is always hard to think of “where next” when the world is so big. Turkey, the birthplace of ancient civiliziation, where Europe meets Asia, is big on my radar, and I can just imagine the photos that would come out of my trip – from the Grand Bazaar & the Blue Mosque to the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia and beyond. My next trip in the fall will be the Balkans – Hungary, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia & Montenegro. Photos I’m espcially excited to take will be at a family run honey farm in Bosnia, a Monastery carved into a cliff in Montenegro to the walled city of Dubrovnik.

  3. Hi Shari, I’d like to travel to Iceland in the near future. (Among many other places!) I’d love to try to capture the Northern lights, a whale breaking through the waves, the Icelandic horses, and the many breath-taking scenes offered by the natural environment. I’ve heard there are lakes with icebergs, which I think would be interesting to photograph as well. I think your photo tours sound very appealing – fabulous idea!

    • I hear that Iceland is pretty awesome! Icebergs in a lake? Icelandic horses? What makes them different from Canadian horses? Just curious if they are unique for some reason?

  4. Miss Shari, I wanted to go to Peru or Nicaragua – both of which are you have done. I’m interested in eastern Europe, any safe corner of Africa, Bali, Thailand, Vietnam. The list goes on. Peaceful setting are of particular interest to me. All the best for Peru!

  5. My list is long as well! But on the top right now are:
-Paris, I have been before, but had an awful camera and took dreadful pictures. They just don’t show the love I have for that city.
-Bora Bora, Never been and it’s always been a dream destination for Matt and I. It just looks too amazing to be real, would love to try and communicate that through a photo or two
-South America, If you weren’t going to Peru one month before my wedding, I would be all over that!
The list goes on and on.. you’ve seen my pinterest board šŸ™‚
Already have one Shari Tucker original on my wall, soon to be many more!!

  6. Shari- I would love to travel to a lot of places because I haven’t yet had the opportunity. However, in movies Greece always blows me away. The scenery is gorgeous and I would love to see it in person and take pictures there. Can’t wait to see the photos of your trip! Enjoy!

  7. For the past few years it has been on my wish list to get to Sable Island to photograph the wild horses, It isn’t the other side of the world, Kind of in our own Back yard, but yet seems like it is this magical place so far away! ā¤ Maybe someday šŸ™‚ (Kathryn Chislett)

    • Wonderful! You are right, it does seem magical and right here close to us!
I photographed some wild horses in St. Pierre & Miquelon in 2010. Didn’t get to spend much time with them as I was on a group tour, but got a few shots. Check out my ‘Where in the World’ section to see them šŸ™‚

  8. I would love to see the Iguazu Falls. I am a Catholic priest, a missionary in Santiago, Chile. I have loved the film, “The Mission,” with Jeremy Irons, Robert De Niro, Liam Neeson. One of these days, I imagine that I will make it there, but until then. . .

Enjoy Peru! I’d love to journey with you! Been a couple of times.

  9. I have had a bucket list for years, and when living in Europe for 4 years I was able to take many places off the list, but Australia and New Zealand remain. I want to see the Outback and Red Rock in the Interior of Australia and the Great Barrier Reef. Been dreaming about this since I was a young girl.

  10. Would love to travel with you – have fun in Peru! I really enjoyed the pictures and exploring I just recently did in Anguilla, BWI. One place I would like to go is a cruise to Northern Norway/Scandinavia or even Iceland. You are welcome to come here to photograph the aurora!
